"Big Ben" as he is affectionately referred to is the star quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers. We wear jersey #7 and has already taken the Steelers to the SuperBowl title in his young career. Ben Roethlisbergers motorcycle accident left the team stunned a few years ago and his first season back after the injury was not very good. However, he did right the ship and have a good 2007 season. Ben played at Miami University (Ohio, not Florida) and was definitely a surprise to the league having success almost immediately. Ben was born on March 2, 1982 in Lima, Ohio. His #7 jersey is one of the most popular in the league for fans and we can only hope that Ben stay healthy to have a fruitful career with the Steelers. His size makes him a tough quarterback to bring down and he breaks tackles often while in the pocket. His favorite downfield receiver is Hines Ward and the Steelers solid running attack makes for a perfect combination to return to the playoffs and potentially SuperBowl down the road.
