Will Smith was born September 25, 1968 in Philadelphia. His role in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air really catapulted Smith to the forefront of the industry and gave him many more opportunities in TV and films. His start as an MC with the DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince duo which is how the show was named. His movie career is what sets Will Smith apart from most actors as he has appeared in countless money makers like Men in Black, Independence Day, Enemy of the State, Wild Wild West, Shark Tales, Ali, The Pursuit of Happiness, I Am Legend, and his upcoming films include Hancock and Seven Pounds. He has always had a great sense of humor as you watch him in interviews. His 2nd wife, Jada Pinkett, is mother to his two children (he has another son from a previous marriage). I thought his role in Ali was his best and certainly his role as Chris Gardner in Pursuit of Happiness was memorable.
